Curtain Tracks

Tracks
Tracks are generally mounted to the wall or ceiling above the window and the curtains have hooks looped into the header tape, which fit onto the rollers of the tracks to display the curtain beauties. They can be made of plastic or metal with a powder-coated finish. They can be hidden under pelmets or valances or be the same color as your wall.. There are many different variations, some can have curved attachments for following the contour of a bay window for example, others can be hung from the ceiling for heavier fabrics and ceiling height windows, some are extendable so that they can adjust to the window size. Some tracks can be cord controlled, in which a pulley system is involved. A over lapping carrier is needed for this system which means that you pull the cord and the curtains open & close with a over lapping to shade off more lights that are coming from the window.

Double Tracks
Only needed when you uses two layers of curtains, a day and a night curtain.

Flexible Track
These are tracks that you use on a curved window or a bay window. It is possible to follow the curve of the window but at only on a specific curvature.

Poles & Finials
Poles are used mainly for single layer curtain. Even though you still can have double-poles mounted on walls to display you day & night curtains but the sight of the brackets are unpleasant. Poles are available in many different materials – timber, brass, wrought iron. They usually have co-coordinating rings that fix to the hooks on the heading of the curtains. Finials are the decorative end caps at the end of the poles. They come in all sorts of shapes and sizes from the traditional rounded balls to arrowheads.
